In a surprising collaboration that defies conventional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Disclosed

According to the authorized release, "A mysterious meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of forbidden rituals and terrifying changes resonate through the shadows." The storyline presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden group.

The questline centers on "strange experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Changes

The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Prizes and Additional Material

Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to multiple items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
